LIVESTOCK SHOW
The Southwest District Livestock Show proudly highlights the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of youth exhibitors from throughout the region. This event promotes agricultural education, responsibility, and sportsmanship while providing participants the opportunity to showcase high-quality livestock in a competitive yet supportive environment.
From breeding and market projects to showmanship, the livestock show reflects the passion and commitment of the next generation of agricultural leaders, while preserving the traditions that define our rural communities. We are proud to foster youth development and recognize the farmers, families, and volunteers whose continued support makes this event possible each year.
2026 LIVESTOCK SPECIES TIE ASSIGNMENTS
This section provides the current tie assignments for each livestock species to ensure proper barn placement and check‑in during the Southwest District Livestock Show.
2026 LIVESTOCK ENTRY & UNLOADING DIRECTIONS
Trailer Drop-Off, Parking & Load-Out Information
Trailer unloading locations and traffic flow will remain the same as in previous years. Please review the unloading map for your species before arriving to ensure you enter the correct unloading line.
Trailer parking will be located in the McNeese Football Stadium parking area, as in past years. No livestock trailers will be permitted to unhook in the
Burton Complex parking lot.
Load-out procedures will also follow last year's format. All trailers must be lined up at the McNeese Football Stadium parking area prior to load-out. Once the rodeo begins, law enforcement will escort trailers to the Burton Complex for animal loading. Please refer to the maps for designated routes and parking locations.
